Who Is Jack Hedin?
FARMER: Started farming organically in the 1990s with the goal of doing good by people and the planet.
BUILDER: WIth help from neighbors and employees, built Featherstone Farm from three acres and a single truck into a 200+ acre operation that warehouses and distributes tons of produce across the Midwest weekly.
LEADER: Winona Area Public Schools board member; co-founded Ridgeway Community School; served Rushford Community Foundation board.
NEIGHBOR: Thirty-plus years in Winona and Filmore counties; raised three sons here.

REAL AFFORDABILITY
Real, lasting affordability is about lower prices for all of us. It’s also about local businesses creating good jobs and local access to critical services.
LOWER HEALTH CARE & HOUSING COSTS
Federal cuts and corporate consolidation are making us pay more and more for health care and housing. In St. Paul, I’ll work to keep our local hospitals and clinics open, bring down premiums, and support the housing our towns need. Life’s basics shouldn’t be this expensive!
Everyone in our community deserves public schools, health care, child care, emergency services, and a grocery store close to home. When we lose them, we lose options, and fewer options mean higher prices. I’ll work to protect local access to these vital services.
PROTECT BASIC SERVICES
Small, locally owned businesses provide good jobs and keep our money here. They deserve the same attention St. Paul gives big corporations. When our dollars stay in the community, life gets more affordable for all of us.
