Jack Hedin: Short Bio

In 1994, Jack Hedin and his wife, Jenni McHugh, founded Featherstone Farm, one of the Midwest's leading organic vegetable operations near Rushford. Beyond the farm, Jack has built three decades of community leadership: a founding member of the Zephyr Valley Community Land Co-operative, two terms on the Rushford Community Foundation Board, and a member of the Rushford Peterson Valley Chamber of Commerce. He now serves on the Winona Area Public Schools Board of Education, where he and Jenni raised their three sons. Jack's commitment to public service traces back to his grandmother, Elizabeth Hedin, the first woman ever elected to the Red Wing City Council. That same spirit of civic engagement now drives his campaign for Minnesota Senate District 26.
